OptionFinder Micro+ - Great Things Come in Small Packages

OptionFinder Micro+ wireless keypad for audience response systemsOTI's OptionFinder Micro+ wireless keypad puts tons of interactive functionality in the palm of your hand. The tiny, hand-held audience response device is an economical and value-packed choice for any company, whether you are brand new to audience response technology or "clickers" or you just want to upgrade your interactivity system.

The system offers a breakthrough in features and portability.  Seventy five keypads fit in a small padded nylon case the size of a letter sized piece of paper by four inches tall.

The compact wireless keypad, measuring 3.0” L x 1.5” W x 0.4” H, has 14 buttons for easy number entry. Its multi-digit input feature lets users enter answers to more sophisticated questions so you can gather more meaningful information. For example, you can ask a group of participants to put a sequence of choices in order of importance.

The device's Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology provides excellent range, low interference and good data security.

The OptionFinder Micro+ can identify itself and change its channel through dynamic addressing. This allows users to participate in multiple meetings. And the participant-tracking feature lets participants move from room to room — while still providing data. The keypad LED display lets users see a confirmation that their response has been received.

Other features of the OptionFinder Micro+ include:

  • receiver polling cycles that are adjustable to optimize speed for group size
  • a USB cable for attaching the receiver unit to the operator's PC
  • receiver powered by computer USB connection with 70-130 mA current draw or by Power Over Ethernet (POE) using midspan and power injector
  • keypad powered by one replaceable lithium cell battery
