ORLANDO, FLORIDA - April, 2013 - Option Technologies Interactive, LLC, a leading provider of audience response systems, has announced the release of OptionPower 4.1, an upgrade to their flagship OptionPower software application that adds polls, surveys, and other interactive functions to PowerPoint presentations.

The OptionPower 4.1 release introduces several major enhancements, including an entirely redesigned report engine. A variety of new report layouts have been added with new tools for instructors to analyze data from multiple course sessions.  New layouts also provide enhanced tabulation for electronic voting and facilitated group decision-making applications.  For the first time, report layouts include full-color graphs and charts. Reports can now extract data by Presentation, Roster, or Presenter.

Other enhancements include a new Hardware Wizard that makes connection and testing of wireless keypads faster and easier.  The OptionPower database provides the ability to identify and track data by presenter or instructor. A new “Category Notes” screen allows users to create tagged notes on content categories, which are automatically documented in exported reports. The new “Free Text Input” slide type has been added to collect alpha-numeric response data from advanced keypads. Users can also use their smartphones and tablets for this feature, which operate using the new Virtual Participant software add-on. Presenters will now have the ability to gather more input from their audience, customized to each presenter’s specific needs.

“We are extremely excited about the flexibility and user-friendliness of this release,” says Mark Fite, President of OTI. “The new reporting engine is something we have been working on, and we can’t wait for users to experience its new features. Customers will love the text input function that will allow them to gather more information from their audiences.”
