The busiest time of year for collegiate sororities is the period of formal recruitment of new members. Effectively meeting and evaluating hundreds of new prospective members over just a few days is a real challenge. Option Technologies has recently partnered with Delta Gamma, a leading women's fraternity with 158 chapters, to apply our OptionPower interactive system to help accelerate the membership selection process.
With the OptionPower electronic voting system, chapter members are able to quickly assess membership candidates after each recruitment event. Each member uses a wireless keypad to vote on candidates for membership. Candidate names are managed by the system software and projected on screen during the voting process.
Using the unique list processing features in the OptionPower system, recruitment directors can instantly poll the chapter on a list of event attendees and make selections to invite candidates back to additional recruitment events.
The OptionPower electronic voting system immediately tabulates results for all candidates on the list. The system is powerful and much faster than paper based methods.

Our electronic voting software is a PowerPoint® add-in, so if you know how to use PowerPoint®, you can use OptionPower® software and keypads. Lists of candidate for membership can be imported from Microsoft Excel. Here are some key capabilities:
- Anonymous or rostered ballots. Keypads can be assigned to a specific person, or voting can be done anonymously.
- Fast vote results. Avoid the expense and time of preparing paper ballots and waiting for those stressful manual count results!

- On-screen ballots-Eliminate the cost of printing and distributing ballots and other voting-related materials. The ballot is projected onto screens for all participants to see and can be edited up to the last minute.
- Tabulated reports, Members can see results immediately on screen or use the report module to instantly generate tabulated reports in Excel.
- Export election data-Transmit results to an easy-to-use Excel file for record keeping and reporting needs.
